Black in Japan: Harvard grad finally became a Japanese citizen

Black Experience Japan is a Youtube channel, chronicling expatriate black people’s experience living in Japan.  The stories are interesting, and often not as negative as you’d expect.  This episode features Henry Moreland Seals, who’s obviously fluent in Japanese, has lived in Japan for more than 20 years.  He’s now a Japanese citizen, but he’s still aware of the goings on in America, and

in 2016, to raise global consciousness about police mistreatment and the general marginalization of black lives here in the U.S. He’s also written a book on Making it in Japan that is available on Amazon in kindle format.
